We are proud that RTL dedicated a report to Emergency Food, our NutriDry group brand dedicated to long-lasting emergency food.
This topic highlights our commitment to food resilience and our mastery of the freeze-drying process, guaranteeing up to 25 years of shelf life.
On the occasion of National Resilience Day, RTL dedicated a report to Emergency Food, our French brand specializing in long-lasting emergency food.
The report, by Olivier Dauvers, highlights our commitment to food resilience and explains the principles of freeze-drying, which is at the heart of our expertise.
A French solution for crisis preparedness
Since our creation, our mission has been to make food preparation accessible to everyone, by offering complete meals that can be stored for up to 25 years.
Our products are designed to meet all scenarios: climate crisis, pandemic, conflict, flood, or prolonged power outage.
As RTL reminds us, our goal is simple: to allow everyone to build up a food safety stock, without having to replenish it regularly, thanks to the exceptional durability of our freeze-dried recipes.
Freeze-drying technology for stability
In its report, RTL reveals the secret to this longevity:
freeze-drying, a process that removes water from food to stop all microbial and enzymatic activity.
Once freeze-dried, our meals are packaged in 100% airtight pouches against light, moisture, and oxygen, ensuring optimal preservation and total food safety.
Varied and complete meals
For an affordable price of around €8 per portion, these meals can be rehydrated in minutes with hot water, offering a nutritious and practical solution, even in emergency situations.
Expertise in service of resilience
At Emergency Food, we believe that being prepared is already taking action.
Being ready for crises also means choosing responsible autonomy, based on quality, sustainability, and food innovation.
We thank RTL and Olivier Dauvers for this highlight, which helps raise public awareness of food resilience.
